Whist watching ‘Scouting For Girls- She’s so lovely’, I noticed
the very close tracking shot that was used while he was lip synching ‘I think
that you are lovely.’ I thought this make him look rather dopey, which I hope
to achieve for my main character. If we did this while he was eating chips, and
he was lip synching, it would be a bit disgusting, showing how un-kept he is as
a character showing a correct representation. Of course, if this is too
discomforting for either the actor or the audience, I would make more of a zoom
out to get more in the frame, so the chewed up food is less of a focus.
